My name is Amanda Morsher-Hewitt and I opened Patina46 on July 10th, 2012 at 46 East Main Street in downtown Norwalk, Ohio. Having a background in Interior Design, I decided to try my hand at retail. Patina46 started out as a Home Decor boutique that offered salvaged as well as new home furnishings and decor. We had many successful years and grew quite the following from our local community as well as surrounding areas. I'm proud to say that many of our pieces now live in homes all across the country. I also created my own soy candle line called Authentic Candles which I am still making in small batches and wholesaling to retailers.

Fast forward to 2017, the shop needed to pivot to be able to keep our doors open, so we decided to evolve into an Antique & Local Artisan Market. We have some amazingly talented Artists and Craftsmen in the surrounding areas as we were lucky to host over 15 at any given time. I truly loved being able to have a space for people to see their goods that otherwise didn't. And I'm so thankful for such a supportive community and customers that showed us so much love over the years. Without all of you, we wouldn't have been able to last as long as we did.

After deciding to permanently close the retail storefront at the end of 2019, I have decided to take my business back to my roots. Interior Design has always been my passion...it's what I studied in college, and was fortunate enough to Intern and eventually work full-time at an amazing Interior Design firm in Columbus for 6 1/2 years with a mentor that took me under his wing and showed me the in's and out's of the Interior Design world. I worked on projects in and around Columbus, and we also worked many of our clients' vacations homes all across the country. I was even the project manager for two new builds in the Bahamas. I gained so much experience from that job and I am forever grateful for everyone that I worked with and learned from in that position.

So needless to say, I'm beyond excited to continue to share my passion with my client's in this next chapter of Patina46 Home.

Thank you for your continued support.

Much Love,

Amanda Morsher-Hewitt
